PhoneNowTerms of Service
These terms apply when you use the PhoneNow app, this website or our store. PhoneNow is operated by DR. APPLE & BROTHERS NIG LTD (RC 9063201), No. 62, Amana City, Kumbotso Local Government Area, Kano 700002, Kano State, Nigeria. By creating an account you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate details.
- One account per phone number. Keep your PIN and sign-in codes private. PhoneNow staff will never ask for them.
- We may suspend money actions on an account to protect you, for example after repeated wrong PIN entries or suspected fraud.
2. Products, prices and orders
- Prices are in Naira and shown in the app. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed.
- New devices come with a 1-year warranty. Certified used devices are graded A or B, have their battery health stated, and come with 90-day cover.
- If an item becomes unavailable after you pay, we will offer an alternative or a full refund.
3. Delivery and pickup
- Same-day delivery is available in selected states before the daily cut-off time shown in the app. Other states usually take 2 to 4 working days.
- For your security, the rider will ask for the delivery code shown in your app. For pickup in store, bring a photo ID that matches your name.
4. PhoneNow Wallet (store credit)
- The Wallet holds store credit from top-ups, trade-ins, refunds you choose to receive as credit, and Buy in advance payments.
- Wallet money can only be spent on products and services from PhoneNow. It cannot be withdrawn as cash, transferred to another person, or paid out to a bank account.
- Wallet balances do not earn interest. Daily and balance limits depend on your identity verification level, up to a maximum balance of ₦10,000,000.
5. Buy in advance
- Buy in advance is a pay-before-you-collect plan, not a loan. You pay a deposit and then instalments over the plan period. You receive the device once it is fully paid.
- The price is locked when you start the plan. Payments made into a plan are store credit and cannot be withdrawn.
- Unpaid plans may be cancelled if the deposit is not paid on time.
6. Trade-ins
- The value shown in the app is an estimate. The final value is set after our staff inspect the device.
- You can accept the final value as store credit, or decline and have your device returned at no cost.
- You must own the device, and it must not be reported lost or stolen. We check IMEI and serial numbers and may refuse or report devices that fail these checks.
7. Returns and refunds
- Approved refunds go back to your original payment method by default, or to your Wallet if you choose.
- Bank refunds usually reach you within 3 to 10 working days after we process them.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use PhoneNow for fraud, money laundering or any unlawful purpose, to resell stolen goods, or to misuse other people's payment details. We may cancel orders and close accounts that break these terms, and report unlawful activity.
9. Liability
We provide PhoneNow with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act or other consumer law. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
